Gameplay Information

This world hedges itself somewhere between a low fantasy setting and a true high fantasy setting. Magic abounds throughout the world, but truly powerful practitioners are an uncommon occurrence at best. Most of that magic is either the wild unfettered magic of sorcerers and druids or the nearly superstitious magic of hedge witches and clerics. The study of magic, as personified by wizard’s and the magus is rare, due mostly to a lack of resources for it. While high fantasy tropes, such as flying castles are possible, the appearance of such would likely be taken as an omen of end times by superstitious villagers due to its unprecedented nature.
